Anita Chin Mathematics Consultancy’s Privacy Policy covers how we collect, use, and store your personal information, and when and to whom the information will be disclosed. This policy conforms to the Australian Privacy Principles, which were introduced on 12 March 2014 which are available here.

Purpose and use of information

We collect your personal information to provide you with a better, more personalised service, as well as for direct marketing purposes. It also allows us to offer information and courses that interest you personally.

What information we collect

The information we collect will depend on the purpose for which it is required. It may include contact names, school addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, names, dates and invoice numbers of courses attended. We also collect information on customer activity on our website in order to determine how best to provide useful information to our customers, and which parts of our website are of most interest to them. This information is not identifiable, and may include such information as your IP address and clickstream information, as well as browser type and operating system.

How we collect information

We may collect personal information from you over the telephone, in an email, with a form, and when you submit details through our website. This includes when you register for a course, attend a course, and respond to our email communication. We also collect non-identifiable information on customer activity on our website using Google Analytics to measure and report statistics about user interactions to improve our website.

Cookies

Facebook Pixel use

Anita Chin Mathematics Consultancy uses Facebook remarketing pixels to aid in customised, targeted follow-up advertising. We may display interest-based ads to you when you are using Facebook through Facebook’s Custom Audience Tool. This tool allows us to personalise our ads based on your interests, demographics, location and any previous interactions with us.

Our Website (anitachinmaths.com.au) uses the Conversion Tracking Facebook Pixel to allow us to follow your actions once you have been redirected to our website via clicking on one of our Facebook ads. This assists us in recording the effectiveness of Facebook ads for reporting and market research purposes.

The data collected through the Facebook Pixel and provided to us is aggregated and remains anonymous, meaning that we cannot see the personal information of the individual user. However, the collected data is also saved and processed by Facebook and used in accordance with Facebook’s Data Use Policy.

Anita Chin Mathematics Consultancy may also share non-identifiable information about your use of our website and your interactions with our Facebook ads with Google Analytics.

Newsletter subscriptions

Anita Chin Mathematics Consultancy requests this information from you so that we can provide you with regular updates about our activities through an email newsletter. We will not disclose your personal information to anybody else unless we are required to do so by law – for example if the information is needed in an emergency or for a law enforcement purpose.

Providing us with the requested information is not required by law. However if you choose not to provide us with the requested information we cannot send you the email newsletter.

We are committed to ensuring the security of your information, both physical and electronic. All information we collect about customers are retained electronically in password-protected environments and are only accessible by Anita Chin Mathematics Consultancy.
