Course Description
Fleuncy with mathematical calculations is essential for all students K–6. Students need plenty of opportunties to develop speed and accuracy with mental strategies for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
In this high-energy workshop, Anita will model a range of hands-on maths tasks designed to improved students’ fluency with mental computation. For each task, Anita will explain the focus content of the task and the prior learning students need, as well as provide practical tips for how to implement the task in the classroom. Teachers will leave with a range of high-quality exciting tasks they can use the very next day!

Delivery Model
This course is delivered as an after-school customised workshop at your school for your whole staff. It is suitable for early career teachers, experienced teachers, learning support educators, maths leaders and school leaders.
You can choose either a 2-hour or 3-hour course.
